Current accreditations include ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 27001:2017, OHSAS 18001:2007 and BSIA. Insurgo is also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and is an ADISA member. These accreditations help keep Insurgo in check, ensuring that we are performing to the highest possible standards and aiming to improve continuously.

ISO 9001: Quality Management System (QMS) Standard
ISO 9001 is the quality management system (QMS) standard published by the International Organisation of Standards. It provides guidelines for the development, implementation and management of a QMS and is the world’s most popular ISO standard.
The certification ensures that Insurgo works to a highly refined set of internal processes and in the most efficient way possible. The standard is revisited once every three years to ensure that it is as strong as it possibly can be, taking improvement inputs from all of the global national standard institutes.
ISO 27001 – Information Security Management Standard (ISMS)
For Insurgo, following these guidelines ensures that we work to a strict set of processes surrounding information security, putting all measures in place to protect the data we store and dispose of. As well as complying with ISO 27001 and being ICO complaint, Insurgo also complies with the forthcoming GDPR Regulations.
ISO 14001: Environmental Management System (EMS)
ISO 14001 is a standard designed to help organisations create an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) which allows for benchmarking against current environment performance and explores ways to improve the environment. ISO 14001 allows Insurgo to work in an environmentally friendly way, with the most efficient practices with energy use, recycling and waste creating, lowering overheads and the overall effect an organisation has on the environment.
ADISA – the Asset Disposal and Information Security Alliance – is an organisation which sets a standard for businesses working within the asset disposal space. Through a set of guidelines, full inspections and unannounced audits, ADISA monitors certified companies to ensure that they are operating at the highest possible security standards. The ADISA certification shows that Insurgo takes seriously the security challenges faced by our operations. In our recent unannounced audit, Insurgo passed with distinction.
The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK and works closely with the Government to ensure that the views and concerns of its members are taken into account in the development of legislation, and in subsequent amendments and clarification. We are listed in the Specialist Services Section.
OHSAS 18001 is the framework for an Occupational Health and Safety Management System and is a part of the OHSAS 18000 series of standards. This standard ensures we have the correct policies, procedures and controls in place in order to achieve the best possible working conditions and workplace health and safety for both our staff and visitors.
